Park County Colorado, outside of town known as Fairplay - located around 10,000 feet above elevation - is exposed to intense winds throughout the year. Seen here during a winter storm, a group of bison gather together surrounding the White Bison, allowing for her to stand out on a day with not too much visibility.
White Bison are considered sacred in several Native American religions.
